why is it that posters promoting vocating vocations always seem so lonely? maybe this is a generalization anyway. but most of the times, the photo is really telling a story of a man looking at the horizon. maybe this is vocation bros, we look at horizons, we reflect on the immensity of God's love against our own finite and minute being. but it is good to have this vocation. it is a gift. yet like the horizon, there is a great ocean to be conquered. thi ocean consists perhaps of weaknesses, failures, insecurities. but anyways, we are not doing a favor for God, he is doing a favor for us. So in the end, God will surely help.

Bros. it is a pity pala that there are very few people who look at this blog.

but if some are actually looking at this, i hope you post your comment about vocation, you might be doing a favor for others. in fact you might be doing a favor to yourself.

thanks. DIOS MABALOS!

hi danilo thank you very much for sharing your reflections on vocation. we are glad that in the end you saw beyond the loneliness (which is not always true of religious life; there is loneliness in every life anyway) and consider it as a gift instead.

btw, have you joined any of our vocation seminars? and yes, please let your friends know about our site. we will do our best to update it as often as we could.

muchas gracias!

hello...

i've been wondering if how can i be so sure if i have what they call "calling". i'm so troubled because of those signs that are coming to me...sabi nila just ask for the sign and if it comes to you then you might have the "calling. several times i asked for the signs and right in front of my eyes i got all those...Clear and Literal signs as what I asked for. This thing troubles me, am I really called?

many people ask for signs to be able to discern what God's will is for them. This has been very prevalent in the old testament. However, one must also realize that the signs we ask for and the way we interpret these signs may be a function of how we wish to read God's mind. In a word, we sometimes long to read our minds in God's and not the other way around. Better yet, one's vocation is the meeting of the minds of both you and God. Thus, prayer becomes indispensable.
